New Orleans Jazz Club
THE SECOND LINE MAGAZINE
Since 1949
The Second Line is the
Official Organ of the New Orleans Jazz Club since 1949. The publication
has reported on traditional jazz from all corners of the world.
The Second line is historical, accurate, interesting and
contemporary.
The Second Line has several definitions.
Basically, it's the people
that follow the brass bands on the street. These Second-Liners also have a
special step, shuffle or dance they do when following the band. This is
called "Second Lining."
There is no
subscription to this magazine; it is given as a bonus to the members of
the club only. If you are interested in joining the NOJC,
