Vintage NOJC Broadcasts-- The first New Orleans Jazz Club radio program was broadcast live shortly after the founding of the club in 1948. For many years this weekly program could be heard on a clear night as far as Canada and South America, powered by the 50,000 watts of radio station WWL. It can be heard today worldwide over shortwave radio, broadcasting Monday through Friday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Central Standard Time, on 15.420 MHz. Real Player required.
